The Rental Housing Commission has published the rent increase caps for Rent Control Year 2026 (May 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027): 2.1% (CPI-W) for elderly/disability tenants under rent control and 4.1% (CPI-W + 2%) for other tenants under rent control.

The Rental Housing Commission has determined that the maximum rental housing application fee is $54 for 2026.
