OTA’s Education and Community Outreach team conducts educational workshops and classes in a variety of contexts to inform the greater District of Columbia tenant community about their rights and other rental housing concerns.
In collaboration with OTA’s Legal and Policy branches, OTA’s Education and Community Outreach team develops educational materials, classes as well as virtual tutorials on issues important to District tenants. OTA can also schedule customized classes for tenants interested in forming a tenant association. Additionally, OTA offers monthly Renters Rights 101 classes.
