The Seventh Annual Tenant Summit will be held September 13, 2014 from 8 am to 5 pm. The event will take place at the Kellogg Conference Center at Gallaudet University, located at 800 Florida Avenue, NE, Washington, DC 20002. Registration, lunch, and parking are all free.
The Office of the Tenant Advocate will hold its last stakeholder meeting before the summer break on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 1 pm until 3 pm in the OTA conference room located in Suite 300-North of the Reeves Center, 2000 14th Street NW (corner of 14th and U Streets). The stakeholder meetings provide tenants, housing advocates and government officials with opportunities to discuss issues of important to the tenant community in the District of Columbia.
The Office of the Tenant Advocate will hold its regularly scheduled stakeholder meeting, which will focus on issues of interest to renters and housing advocates in the District of Columbia. Items of discussion will inlcude legialtive updates and division update.

The Equal and Inclusive Housing: Knowledge for Stakeholders webinar – presented by the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights – provides an introduction to housing discrimination in the District, including local and federal fair housing laws, and to the process of reporting complaints of discrimination to the Office of Human Rights.
