Thursday, November 4, 2010
The Norwood Tenant Association will be presenting “Popol Vuh” at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian November 6th and 7th (11 am and 1:30 pm each day).

The Norwood Tenant Association will be presenting “Popol Vuh” at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian November 6th and 7th (11 am and 1:30 pm each day).  “Popol Vuh” is a play that tells the story of how the Mayan people were created.

For the past few years, the members of the Norwood Tenant Association have incorporated Mayan art into their tenant rights education and organizing efforts.  This is your opportunity to support and celebrate art projects created by DC tenants.

The play is free and open to the public.  There will be a morning show and an afternoon show.  The performance will be in Spanish with English subtitles.  Please click here for the “Popol Vuh” flier.
