The US Supreme Court declines to reconsider the constitutionality of rent control.

On Monday, April 23, 2012, the US Supreme Court denied certiorari in a case challenging the Constitutionality of rent control.  This means that the Court denied a request to consider upsetting nearly 100 year-old precedent upholding the Constitutionality of rent control.  This precedent includes opinions written by Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes in the 1920s.  You may read (and hear) more about this matter and the NY case in question, Harmon v.
